‘X-Factor Health and Body Studio’ was situated on Prince's Wharf in downtown Auckland for 10 years. The location enabled us to participate in the diversity of cultures within the tourism industry, while being the creators of innovative holistic beauty and body therapies and to be a part of history with the America’s Cup. Our philosophy has always been natural & organic caring & sustainability and it all blends together in our quest for using active natural and organic skin care without harm to the body or environment. Using Phyt’s certified organic, 100% natural skin care from France for the last 3 years in the studio allowed us to explore our “think green” and eco-friendly journey. Now as the exclusive distributors of Phyt’s to spa’s and salons nationwide, we have the opportunity to share our natural and organic ethic with the professional beauty therapy industry. In April 2011, we are excited to showcase our new ‘X-Factor Organic Health Spa’ in Ellerslie, and we invite you to join us.

In construction of the spa we have used eco-friendly sustainable materials and fabrics which align with our vision

Bamboo flooring is a renewable and sustainable resource. It is one of the fastest growing plants taking only 4-6 years to mature. it is resistant to insects and moisture and is green rated eco-sustainable

Ceiling tiles are made of raw materials, 100% biodegradable and have a class A sound absorption. They also offer fire protection and hygienic facing. The tiles are free from asbestos and formaldehyde. The first green acoustic ceiling tile worldwide.

Our paint is water based with low VOC (volatile organic compound) and levels of environmental harmful substances have been eliminated or reduced

The Woodtex fence has a small footprint and is eco-friendly. The timber is offcuts sourced from sustainable plantations only. Woodtex is free from VOC or ODP (ozone depleting products) and is ideal for use in any green star related projects.
